In addition to reaching a healthy BMI and weight by the age of 30, I also wanted to make a list of other things I’d like to do before that time. Anyone that has struggled with their weight and especially those that suffer from morbid obesity know that some things just aren’t possible/easy anymore. SO, you’ll see that a lot of things on this list are everyday things for people of a normal weight, but not so much for me!
I’d like to hit 30 things soon, feel free to add suggestions!! (Updated December 24, 2015!!)
Conquer “The Hill”- Have a baby – Though this is still a goal at some point, this is DEFINITELY not going to happen by 30! LOL
Fear. No. Chair.Fly in airplane without seat belt extenderFly in airplane without buying a second seatCross my legsShop in a store with regular clothes sizesRide a roller-coaster(Check out the pics/post here!)- Go back to Las Vegas! (Happening January 2016!)
Purchase something from Victoria’s SecretSit comfortably in any restaurant boothWear a bathing suit in publicRun a 5KWear a dress to work- Wear non-wide calf boots – Don’t think this will happen! I have BIG man calves lol
- Wear shorts in public
Buy/ride a bikeWear a smaller ring size (currently 12) – ring too big as of 5/1/13- Finish my Master’s degree (classes in progress, won’t finish by 30)
Wear a pair of heelsWrap a regular-sized bath towel around my bodyHave plastic surgery to remove excess skin – yuk!Go zip liningBuy and wear a piece of expensive, flirty lingerie – like this 🙂Have the varicose veins on my legs treated (that were discovered after the weight loss 😦 )Have a body fat percentage of 25-30% (in the “average” range) (Achieved January 2015)
With the exception of Nos. 1 & 2, we share the same list. Go for it, girl!
Wear a swimsuit in public, wear shorts (it’s been 10 years), be able to walk in heels again, and weigh less than my husband are some additional ones of mine.
YES! Good ones! I’m going to be adding wear shorts! If I weren’t so clumsy and already 5’10” I would DEFINITELY add the heels one!
I’m 6′ tall and loved heels when I was “skinny” aka 210lbs. I loves being the tallest blonde in the room. If you’ve got it flaunt it!!
If you ever see ME run, please call 911 because there is somebody chasing me with a knife and they are probably wearing a clown costume.
You and I have similar goals! I’ve accomplished some of the goals you have set for yourself (for example, I already have a Master’s), but some of our goals are common. Glad to know there is someone else out there with similar aspirations! 🙂
UGH! BOOOOOOTS. How I love thee….how big my calves are…. 😦 LOL that’s one of mine, too! I hope my calves shrink a lot!
Ha, great list! I think I’m going to make my own list like this, except it’ll have to be 40 by 40, lol
It’s really fun to cross stuff off… I need to actually get the list to 30 though lol

I’ve already passed 30 – long past, but I could probably get in a 40 by 40 list. I’m researching VSG, and your blog has been INCREDIBLY inspirational. Hope you’re recovering well from all the lifting. Can’t wait to see the after pics.
Thanks! The after pics are in the password protected posts – shoot me an email flirtybythirty15@gmail.com if you’d like the password! thanks!
